I was talked into going on an elephant ride with my group when I was in Chiang Mai. Since there was an odd number of passengers I got to ride on the elephant's head. Not something I want to do everyday!!!
Did you ever wonder why cashews are so expensive? Every nut is shelled by hand. It's not cashew season right now but this cashew factory has someone shelling them all year long.

Rice is the staple food here. In the small town of Pak Beng, Laos a small stall is selling rice.
